a day in the life | november edition

It started as a conversation between friends and has grown to be a project that I am so very excited about. Six lifestyle photographers from across the country forming a circle and blogging once a month about a day (or an hour, or 5 minutes!) in the life of our littles. We all wanted to slow down and capture the everyday moments. I am thrilled to be working with this amazing group and can't wait to catch a glimpse into their everyday. This month, I chose to blog a very ordinary Saturday, because I want to remember even the most ordinary moments through the eyes of my sweet girl. project 365 | july - september

I am so glad I took on this personal project this year. Though there are days when I feel completely lacking in creativity and throwing in the towel, there are so many more days where I am grateful for the moments it has enabled me to capture in our daughter's first year and the strides that I've made in my career. Here's a selection of my favorites from the past three months, we are settling into Fall and I am officially in the home stretch! :)

project 365 | april - june

I seriously cannot believe it is already July. When did that happen?! As I wrap up the second season of my personal Project 365, I'd like to share some of my favorites from the past few months. Get ready for a major overshare, I had a seriously hard time narrowing down my favorites!  It has been amazing to watch our little Lila grow and develop into a sassy little baby! I have fallen in love with this project for so many reasons, both personal and professional. I love taking the time to document my own family and building memories for our future while picking up my camera everyday to learn something new everyday! those of you who know me know that i have been obsessively taking pictures of my daughter as part of my project 365 (photo a day project). there have been quite a few days like today where i have had trouble choosing just one because the 'adorable' factor just melts my heart :) on those days, i blog them all!

project 365 | january - march

this year i challenged myself to take a photo of our personal life every single day. from a professional standpoint, i thought it would help me strengthen my photography skills by ensuring i absolutely always had my camera within arm's reach. from a personal standpoint, i thought it was a great opportunity to document our daughter's first year (somewhat obsessively)! so that's what this project has essentially turned into, a glimpse into our lives as new parents to a very feisty and lovable little girl! these are some of my favorites from the first three months, to follow my project 365 on a daily basis check me out on Facebook!
