andrea and brian are an awesome couple! andrea is a good friend of mine, and i was so excited when she asked me to do these photos. we spent the afternoon in georgetown, which is one of my favorite places to shoot in dc! there is so much variety and i think it makes for awesome urban shots. i love andrea's vintage style - i felt as though i had travelled in time to the 1940s! thanks for sharing the afternoon with me guys, i had so much fun!
victoria and j.d. are a wonderful couple. they met in high school in north carolina. victoria is your classic southern belle and j.d., from spain, was spending a year as an exchange student in the us of a. the rest is history! i had such a great time at this shoot. we started the day in eastern market, a spot not far from their home that they both frequent every saturday! from there we explored a bit more of capitol hill and ended the day at the jefferson memorial. thanks for letting me photograph this exciting time!
as the summer winds down, i am catching up on my travel blogging from the past few months! this past summer we traveled to northern ireland, visiting family and taking in some sights. compared to past visits, we spent more time exploring belfast, the ards peninsula and the titanic quarter. northern ireland's infamous 12th of july parades also fell during this visit providing me with an opportunity to photograph one of the most politically charged days of the year in the region.
not only are these two little munchkins super cute they also happen to be my little sisters, so i have a soft spot for photographing them :) we had a lot of fun playing dress up and shooting our very own runway photo session!
6 month old ella bella was an absolute pleasure to photograph - she is such a peaceful and beautiful little baby and was able to keep up with the boundless energy of big sis robyn! after spending a the first part of the afternoon exploring queen's university, we spent some time relaxing in the botanic gardens in belfast and taking in the sights with this cutie. how can you not fall in love with those big blue eyes?! thanks zara for a lovely afternoon with your two little girls, i can't wait to do it again!
